Your First Visit to Spotify O-EAST

Spotify O-EAST is a live house on Dogenzaka in Shibuya, Tokyo. According to the official website, it is a large venue that holds 1,300 people standing or 565 seated. It is within walking distance of Shibuya Station, so many people visit for concerts by artists from Japan and abroad. The venue was formerly called Shibuya O-EAST and then TSUTAYA O-EAST.

Getting to Spotify O-EAST

You can walk to the venue from JR Shibuya Station. Shinsen Station on the Keio Inokashira Line is also close.

From Narita Airport

  • Narita Express: From Narita Airport to Shibuya Station. Some trains stop at Shibuya. Walk to the venue from the station.
  • Keisei Skyliner + JR Yamanote Line: From Narita Airport to Nippori Station, then change to the JR Yamanote Line for Shibuya Station. Walk to the venue from the station.

From Haneda Airport

  • Keikyu Line + JR Yamanote Line: From Haneda Airport to Shinagawa Station, then change to the JR Yamanote Line for Shibuya Station. Walk to the venue from the station.
  • Tokyo Monorail + JR Yamanote Line: From Haneda Airport to Hamamatsucho Station, then change to the JR Yamanote Line for Shibuya Station. Walk to the venue from the station.

From the Nearest Stations

  • Shibuya Station (JR Yamanote Line, Tokyo Metro, Tokyu lines, Keio Inokashira Line): Walk toward Dogenzaka to reach the venue.
  • Shinsen Station (Keio Inokashira Line): This station is closer to the venue than Shibuya Station.

Getting Home and the Last Train

For the last trains on other lines and the latest times, check the journey planner NAVITIME.

Trains generally do not run from about 12:30 a.m. until about 5 a.m. If you miss the last train, you can take a taxi. The ride-hailing apps GO and Uber both work. A late-night surcharge of 20% applies from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Tickets and Entry

Tickets are not sold on this site. Check the venue’s official schedule page for each show and how to buy. Where tickets are sold depends on the show, mainly Pia, Lawson Ticket and e+.

  • Drink charge: 600 yen at entry. Credit cards and transit IC cards, among others, are accepted (per the official website).

Many hotels around Shibuya Station are easy to get back to after the show. Because the Maruyamacho area around the venue has many love hotels, it is easier to look for a hotel around Shibuya Station.

Tips Before You Visit

The last Yamanote Line train from Shibuya is 0:48

The last Yamanote Line train from Shibuya toward Shinagawa and Tokyo is 0:48. If you stay for the encore you may miss it, so check the last train for your route home in advance.

The building has more than one hall

The Spotify O-EAST building also houses other halls from the same group, such as Spotify O-Crest. Check the venue name on your ticket before you set out.

Redevelopment work is under way nearby

A redevelopment project in the Dogenzaka 2-chome South district is scheduled for completion at the end of February 2027. Construction may affect the area, so allow extra time to get there.
